Meet the autumn sea at naturum Öresund. Join our guided activities or take an excursion on your own with Havsskrindan or Havslådan. From week 34 until the autumn holidays we keep doing excursions as long as the weather permits.
Wading - a guided activity
During a wading session, all participants can wade out into the sea by wearing our wading pants. We carefully capture some nearshore inhabitants and our nature guides give good tips on where to find them. Back on land we go through the catch in our shallow aquarium - and maybe some of the animals will move into our aquariums!
Time required: 60 min
Who can participate: Everyone! Kids born 2013 or later must have a participating adult who also books a spot.
Number per group: 10 people
Equipment: Wading boots, nets and water-binoculars are included.
Snorkeling - guided activity
This snorkeling session is suitable for children and adults with no or little snorkeling experience. Swimming skills are not required because we snorkel in shallow water. All participants can borrow wetsuits, snorkels and masks and in calm conditions we practice snorkeling techniques. Then we snorkel around and see what is hidden under the surface.
Time required: 75 minutes.
Who can participate: Everyone born 2017 and earlier.
Number per group: 10 participants, children born in 2015 - 2017 must be accompanied by a participating adult who also books a spot.
Equipment: Snorkeling equipment included, bring towel and swimwear.
Havsskrindan - on your own
Havsskrindan is a small wagon fully loaded with equipment for an excursion in the sea and along the beach. Nets, binoculars, magnifying glasses, key maps etc. give you good conditions
to discover life in the Sound on your own! We help you determine the species if something seems difficult, just take a picture and show us when you return. Here are videos on how to net and use the mapping key.
Bring your own: rubber boots / shoes that can withstand wet, non-tender clothing. NOTE! It does NOT include loans of waders.
Time required: max 2 hours.
Who can book: Everyone, at least 1 adult per group. Equipment is available for 5 - 6 people.

Wearing wading boots and clothes according to the weather, we step into the winter sea and look for nice algae to put in the exhibition aquariums. Back at naturum, participants learn more about naturum's aquariums care and about the inhabitants of the aquariums.
Time required: about 1 hour
Who can participate: All born 2016 and earlier.
Group size: 6 participants, children born in 2015 and later must have a participating adult who also books a place.
Equipment: Wading boots included.
